As soon as January 2023, Realme will release a relatively affordable flagship phone. If you guess, we are talking about the Realme GT Neo 5. The biggest selling point of the phone will be the 240W fast charging technology. There have been many rumors concerning its highlights. But we will learn about every detail only on January 5, when it is out.
Anyway, today, we got a poster revealing its key features. But we can’t insist that everything on the poster is true.
As the poster shows, the Realme GT Neo 5 will support 240W charging. When using a corresponding charger, it will be able to charge to 100% in less than 10 minutes. Of course, everything depends on the battery capacity.
Moreover, we can see that the phone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. On the back, it will carry a Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support. By the way, the camera module will consist of two rungs. The top ring should house the main lens, while the second one includes two camera sensors. There is also a vertical LED strip.
The phone should have two battery variants. One of the Realme GT Neo 5 models will have a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support, while the other model will come with a 5,000mAh battery and support 150W fast charging.
On the front, it should have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Our protagonist should run the Realme UI 4.0 system based on Android 13.
The front-facing camera will have a 16-megapixel resolution. However, the rear camera will have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The maximum memory volume should be 16GB. Apart from the LPDDR5 RAM, there will also be up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is also expected to feature RGB lights.
