At today’s Honor Spring Flagship New Product Launch Event, Honor officially unveiled the Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition smartphone, starting at 6999 yuan (about $972).
The Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition, which is 8.9mm thick and weighs 227g, embodies the design concept of “Qilian Tianchi, lakes like mirrors.” Additionally, it offers two color options: Ink Rock Black and Sky Purple. With a warm suede texture and the durability of Honor Gorilla Giant Rhino Glass, it exudes elegance and resilience.
The Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition introduces Honor Gorilla Giant Rhino Glass, intending to propel future phones into the era of zero film attachment. According to Honor, this glass is based on second-generation nano-crystalline technology. It utilizes a new material, silicon nitride, coupled with a new coating process. This results in a 50% increase in crystal density and a 30% overall improvement in anti-drop capability. Even in harsh scenarios such as marble, asphalt roads, and gravel roads, it achieves a 10x enhancement in all-scenario anti-drop capability. This translates to tenfold scratch resistance.
The Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition boasts a brand-new single-lens ultra-dynamic eagle-eye camera. The camera boasts the industry’s inaugural ultra-dynamic eagle-eye main camera. The H9800 (Huawei OV50K, 1/1.3″, 15EV dynamic range, F1.4-2.0 variable aperture, OIS). Additionally, it incorporates a 1200-point laser radar array autofocus system. By merging cutting-edge autonomous driving components into the phone imaging system, it attains SLR-level omnidirectional motion capture, effortlessly seizing high-speed dynamics. Additionally, the LOFIC image sensor easily handles high-dynamic video and photo scenes. This efficiency enables it to produce high-quality images even in complex lighting conditions.
The Magic6 Ultimate Edition runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It boasts a 6.8-inch 2800×1280 resolution 120Hz 8T LTPO OLED display. With 16GB of RAM and either 512GB or 1TB of storage space, it ensures smooth performance and ample storage. Equipped with a built-in 5600mAh second-generation Qinghai Lake battery, it promises extended usage without frequent recharges. It supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging for added convenience. The device is IP68-rated, ensuring resistance against water and dust. It also supports Honor Swan dual-way satellite communication, enhancing connectivity options.
The Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition will begin pre-sale on March 18 at 21:08 and officially go on sale on March 22 at 10:08.
