According to the latest updates shared by @Tech_Reve, Samsung might abandon the Exynos brand in the future. Exynos 2400 could potentially be the last product under this brand. Starting from Exynos 2500, a new brand will be introduced, unifying Qualcomm Snapdragon and Exynos chips.

Samsung Galaxy S25

Recently, @OreXda tweeted a seemingly unlikely piece of information:

Commencing from 2025, Samsung’s smartphone chips will undergo the following changes:

  • The Galaxy Z series will exclusively use Snapdragon chips.
  • The Galaxy S series will exclusively utilize Exynos chips.
  • The Galaxy A series will incorporate both MediaTek and Exynos chips.

However, @Tech_Reve holds a different perspective, expressing skepticism about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series exclusively using Exynos chips. He states:

To my knowledge, Samsung not only develops its dedicated chips (like Samsung SLI) but also collaborates with Qualcomm.

Especially considering Lu Taiwen’s successor, Lee Yihwan’s affinity for Qualcomm, it’s harder to believe he would abandon Qualcomm and solely rely on Exynos chips.

Therefore, starting from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, Samsung might introduce a new processor brand, eliminating the distinction between Exynos and Snapdragon.

Hence, the Exynos 2400 is anticipated to be Samsung’s final Exynos chip. It is expected that from Exynos 2500 onwards, chips will be released under a new brand. During this transitional period, Qualcomm chips might also hit the market as Samsung’s dedicated chips.
