The bionic “double” robotic arms, a breakthrough technology, are now in motion. They incorporate the industry’s first liftable side brush extension, enhancing the X40 series’ sweeping and mopping capabilities.

President Guo Renjie of Chumi Technology China emphasized the company’s dedication to technological advancements in the sweeping robot industry. Moreover, Chumi Technology aims to achieve inclusive benefits and continually enhance its flagship technologies. In addressing the challenge of cleaning corners and crevices, the Dreame X40 series introduces innovative solutions. Specifically, the expansion of side brushes increases the cleaning area along straight edges, covering suspended cabinet gaps more efficiently. This improvement results in a remarkable 71% enhancement over the previous generation.
The X40 series improves its bionic robotic arm technology, ensuring precise cleaning in corners smaller than 1mm on walls. It mimics human hand movements for thorough cleaning of furniture and appliances. With upgraded “double” robotic arms, the Dreame X40 series prioritizes suction power, dry sweeping, wet mopping separation, and self-cleaning, enhancing the sweeping robot’s cleaning effectiveness. Turbo Force 5, a self-developed fan, provides a peak suction power of 12,000Pa, significantly boosting vacuuming capabilities.
To address concerns about integrated sweeping and mopping robots causing secondary contamination. The Dreame X40 series introduces the world’s first “triple lifting system” of mop + roller brush + side brush. This system ensures dry and wet separation, preventing dust and debris from wetting the mop during sweeping and avoiding secondary contamination of side brushes and roller brushes during mopping.
The X40 series also introduces the industry’s first active base station self-cleaning 2.0, optimizing cleaning rib design, and water diversion channels, and incorporating a double scraper arm for efficient chassis cleaning. The Dreame X40 series provides a hassle-free cleaning experience, tackling challenges such as hair tangling. An active hair-cutting anti-tangle roller brush 2.0, with upgraded materials and design, minimizes tangle issues.
Expanding its sterilization capabilities, the X40 series features UV ultraviolet sterilization technology, effectively eliminating pathogens with a 99.99% elimination rate. The product team also addresses sewage tank odors through a deodorization module, achieving a 99.9% sterilization rate. Activated carbon deodorizing dust bags, silver ion sterilization, and antibacterial filters form a comprehensive six-layer water and gas purification system.
Priced at 5,699 yuan (about $802), the Dreame X40 series offers features. Guo Renjie expressed confidence in the product’s ability to lead the sweeping robot industry to new heights of innovation and development.
