The 2024 BMW iX3 recently hit the market. It’s a routine yearly facelift. Notably, the new BMW iX3 swapped its old electric motor with a Chinese one, and the cruising range got a slight tweak. However, the price remains steady, with the flagship model at 405,000 yuan (about $57022) and the pioneer model at 445,000 yuan (about $62654).
The new BMW iX3 borrows its looks from the 2023 model. The flagship model comes loaded with features: a panoramic glass sunroof, LED adaptive headlights, M aerodynamic components, M sports multifunctional leather steering wheel, 3D Zone automatic air conditioning, 12.3-inch floating central control screen, 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, 19-inch wheels, Sensatec synthetic leather-covered seats, and black high-gloss interior strips. Going a step further, the Chuangling model adds enhancements like black headlight trim strips, 360-degree panoramic images, heated front seats, Harman Kardon audio, wireless mobile phone charging, WiFi hotspots, automatic parking assist system Plus, keyless entry, Full-color head-up display system, driving recorder, electric vehicle sound simulation, etc., along with upgraded 20-inch rims.
Switching to power, the new 2024 BMW iX3 packs an electric motor from ZF Electric Drive Technology (Shenyang) Co., Ltd., delivering a max power of 210 kilowatts and a peak torque of 400 Nm, matching the 2023 model. For batteries, it relies on an 80 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. The flagship CLTC pure electric cruising range is now 540 kilometers, a 10-kilometer dip from the 2023 model. Meanwhile, the pioneer CLTC pure electric cruising range is 530 kilometers, also 10 kilometers less than the 2023 model.
