Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro offer limited color edition on JD.com, with open reservations. These versions will go on sale at 10:00 on January 15. Currently, the market only has the 16GB+1TB version: the Xiaomi 14 costs 4,999 yuan (about $703), and the Xiaomi 14 Pro costs 5,999 yuan (about $843).
The Xiaomi 14 Limited Color Edition includes olive green and bay blue, matching the Xiaomi Automobile SU7 colors. Before this, the Xiaomi 14 came in black, white, rock green, and snow mountain pink. The customized colors cost the same as the original versions. The Xiaomi 14 is the industry’s strongest “small screen” flagship. It features a straight edge and screen design, narrower black borders, and visually equal width on all four sides.
The Xiaomi 14 introduces the new Leica Summilux lens, marking its first use in a smartphone. This lens features an f/1.6 aperture and a 7P aspherical high-lens design. Xiaomi has developed a 50MP “Light and Shadow Hunter 900” image sensor for this lens. This sensor measures 1/1.31 inches, supports OIS optical image stabilization, and offers a 23mm equivalent focal length. The phone also includes a 50MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung S5KJN1), a 50MP telephoto (Samsung S5KJN1) lens, and a 32MP (OmniVision OV32B) front camera.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro model boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It features a 6.73-inch AMOLED full-depth, slightly curved, flexible screen with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass. The screen resolution is 3200 x 1440, supporting a 1~120Hz LTPO refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000nit. The device houses a 4820mAh high-energy-density battery, compatible with 120W Xiaomi ThePaper wired instant charging. Additionally, it includes the custom Light Hunter 900 image sensor with a 1024-level variable aperture.
