Android 14 Statue Unveiled: Robot Stands Upside Down on Cake

Google recently released Android 14, the latest version of the Android operating system. This release signals that major mobile phone manufacturers will soon follow suit with their own upgrades. To mark this significant occasion, Google has unveiled a new statue in commemoration of Android 14. The official name for Android 14 is “Android U,” with ‘U’ standing for Upside Down Cake. Dave Burke, Google’s vice president of Android engineering, has confirmed this codename. The statue’s design description reveals an upside-down Android robot sporting the No. 14 jersey, aligning perfectly with the codename “Flip.” Notably, Android 14 introduces a change in the image of Android robots.

As depicted in the picture, the new Android robot logo adopts a 3D version, mirroring the design of the new statue. Simultaneously, the branding logo for the Android brand has also undergone a transformation, now featuring a more three-dimensional representation of the robot.
