OPPO Find X3

To participate in the OPPO Find X3 / N ColorOS 14.0 internal beta testing, users must first ensure that their mobile phone is running the upgraded versions 13.1.0.190 (X3), 13.1.0.191 (N), or 13.1.0.192 (N). You can easily check your phone’s version by navigating to Settings > About this machine > Version information > Version number.

To access the recruitment portal, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to “Settings” on the machine.
  2. Click on “About this machine.”
  3. Locate “Version information” at the top, just above “Mobile phone name.”
  4. Click the “Settings” button in the upper right corner.
  5. Select “Early adopter application.”
  6. Upgrade the internal beta.
  7. Follow the provided instructions for the application.

We will categorize the internal beta version into two variants: the log version and the nolog version. Both versions are internal beta builds, so they may have less stability compared to official releases and may contain some bugs. The key differences between the two versions are:

  1. Log Version: This is the version available for internal testing.
  2. Nolog Version: Another internal beta version with similar characteristics.

Before proceeding with the upgrade, users should back up their essential personal data. This step will prevent potential data loss due to compatibility issues or other unforeseen circumstances that might arise after the update.

Upgrading to Android 14 may cause problems with some third-party apps. These problems include crashes, freezes, black screens, and higher power usage. To avoid these issues, check for updates for your third-party apps in the software store and make sure they’re up-to-date before upgrading.

After the upgrade, the system will conduct a series of background adaptations and optimizations within the first two days. This may result in the phone becoming warm, sluggish, or experiencing rapid battery drainage. To mitigate these issues, we recommend users immediately turn off their phone screens after the upgrade and restart the device after charging it for 2 hours. Alternatively, the problems may resolve naturally through normal usage over time.

Furthermore, be aware of the following known issues in the current version and carefully consider them before signing up:

  1. When restarting the phone and unplugging the charger, the lock screen interface and status bar icon may erroneously indicate that the device is still charging.
  2. The QQ application may crash when attempting to share content with QQ while using the floating window feature.
