Today, Xiaomi officially announced the launch of the Mijia water purifier 1000G Plus, which starts at 2,199 yuan (about $300). This water purifier features a newly upgraded touch faucet that enables intelligent quantitative water dispensing. Additionally, it has a remarkable throughput of 1000G and can fill a cup in just 3 seconds. Furthermore, it has received premium water quality certification and meets the standards for direct drinking by both mothers and babies. While no other official parameters have been disclosed as of yet, this announcement marks a significant step forward in Xiaomi’s product lineup.
In comparison, Xiaomi previously introduced the Mijia water purifier 1000G Pro, offering a rated total water purification capacity of 6500L and a purified water flow rate of 2.65L/min. This model utilizes a PPC+RO reverse osmosis dual filter element configuration, ensuring it is free from bisphenol A and plasticization agents. Notably, it incorporates pure water internal circulation technology, automatically directing pure water back to the front of the membrane when not in use. This process involves repeated filter element cleaning to enhance water quality for subsequent use. The built-in RO reverse osmosis filter boasts an impressive service life of up to 5 years, with an operating noise ranging from 30dB to 65 dB.
The faucet section adopts a user-friendly touch control design, allowing users to monitor the current water purification status and configure three commonly used water volumes. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mijia Water Purifier 1000G Plus features a large-diameter pipeline design, offering an initial flow rate of up to 3.23L/min, all at a competitive price of 1,999 yuan (about $273).
