During Xiaomi’s recent product launch event on the evening of the 14th, they unveiled the latest iteration of their bionic four-legged creation, the Xiaomi CyberDog 2. This new version features a captivating color-changing effect that adapts to the current environment, creating a striking visual display. Now it is on sale at XiaomiMall in China at Just 12,999 Yuan (about $1794).
Xiaomi CyberDog 2 has a stronger resemblance to an actual dog compared to its predecessor. Through the power of AI self-learning, it underwent training with a staggering 30,000 robot dogs in parallel. This advanced training enabled it to excel in various aspects, including gesture interaction, voice control, face recognition, AIoT integration, fusion tracking, and obstacle avoidance.
Impressively, it harnesses a total computing power of 21TOPS. Fitted with 12 CyberGear micro-motors, it employs an AI-developed balance dynamic algorithm for stability, along with an AI multi-modal fusion perception decision-making system, enabling it to reach speeds of up to 1.6m/s. Lei Jun enthusiastically dubbed it as “even more dog-like than an actual dog.
Xiaomi’s CyberDog 2 takes personalization to the next level with 9 detachable shells. In addition to supporting 3D printing, it now offers the option of utilizing Yuantai’s E Ink Prism™ color-changing electronic paper display to craft a fully customized appearance.
