Gizcoupon reported on May 5th that Xiaomi Poco is preparing to launch the Poco F5 smartphone in India. This phone is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. It will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Poco India’s head, Himanshu Tandon, has now shared actual images of the device. Moreover, they are available in Charcoal Black and Blizzard White, respectively.
Insider Abhishek Yadav has revealed that the device will be priced at less than 30,000 Indian rupees (approximately $366).
It has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Poco F5 smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Qualcomm has stated that compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 will offer a 50% overall performance improvement, a 13% energy efficiency improvement, and double the AI performance.
According to Gizcoupon, the specifications of the Xiaomi Poco F5 are similar to those of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. It will feature a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging. Additionally, it will come pre-installed with the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13. Other specifications will include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a 64MP rear main camera. The POCO F5 Pro is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, as well as LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash storage.
