Gizcoupon reported on May 2nd that Poco, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, announced the launch of the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro new smartphones on May 9th, Beijing time. Poco has now revealed that the Poco F5 Pro will have a WQHD + straight screen. Additionally, it features a centered punch-hole housing a front-facing camera.
On the right side of the Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro, there is a power button connected to the volume rocker. At the bottom of the phone, there are a USB-C port, SIM card slots, a microphone, and speakers. Notably, there are no antenna lines on the phone’s frame, which could indicate that it is not made of metal.

Furthermore, Poco also warm-up the back panel of the F5. It resembles the Redmi Note 12 Turbo for the Chinese market. Moreover, the phone is confirmed to have a rear triple camera setup with a 64MP main sensor. It has been confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. Meanwhile, the Poco F5 Pro is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. (Note: expected to be the same as the Chinese version of the Redmi K60 series).
