Vivo Y78+, The First Curved Screen Mobile Phone Of The Vivo Y Series, Starts Pre-Sale

On April 23, Gizcoupon reported that vivo launched the Y78+, its first curved-screen phone in the Y series. It will be officially launched on April 26th, Beijing time. Prior to the new device’s release, it was available for pre-order on JD.com (a Chinese e-commerce platform). The Y78+ has three memory versions to choose from 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. Their pre-sale prices are $232, $261, and $290, respectively. They will be officially available for sale at 9:00 AM Beijing time on April 26th.

According to Gizcoupon’s research on the relevant purchase page, the vivo Y78+ is crafted with a seven-layer nano-level coating process, giving it a porcelain texture. The rear camera module adopts a cloud-level dual-mirror design. In addition, it comes in three colors: cyan, moon shadow black, and warm sun gold. It has a 6.78-inch 3D OLED curved screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive variable speed high refresh rate, with a peak brightness of 1300nit. Additionally, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Mobile Platform powers it, and LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 are supported. Additionally, it has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 44W flash charging.

In terms of imaging, the new phone features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual-camera module on the back includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS optical image stabilization and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. Moreover, it supports shooting modes such as Super Night View and Super Sense Portrait.
