Xiaomi 13 Ultra to Feature Ring Cooling Pump Technology

Gizcoupon reported on April 15th that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would debut at Xiaomi’s “Travel with Light” new product launch event at 7:00 pm on April 18th(Beijing Time). The official statement claims that the device will usher in the era of mobile optical imaging.

Today, Xiaomi’s official Weibo account for mobile phones announced that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be equipped with the company’s self-developed ring cooling pump heat dissipation technology. This technology uses a gas-liquid separation design with a one-way circulation structure. This makes it greatly increases the speed of heat dissipation. Furthermore, it achieves a 300% improvement in heat dissipation compared to traditional VC.

In addition, Lei Jun stated that with the self-developed ring cooling pump heat dissipation technology and the latest generation of Snapdragon processors, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra could achieve full-frame 4K 60fps video recording without dropping frames.

As previously reported by Gizcoupon, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform with up to 1TB of storage. The device will be equipped with a 4900mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. And it comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, based on Android 13.

In terms of imaging, the new device will feature a quad-camera system developed in collaboration with Leica. All of them are 50-megapixel sensors, namely IMX989+IMX858+IMX858+IMX858. The primary camera will adopt the “Leica one-inch variable aperture” technology. Furthermore, it provides two aperture sizes of f/1.9 and f/4.0.
