Today, Xiaomi confirmed that it would launch the Mi 13 Pro series for the global market during MWC 2023 on February 26. Plus, the company said that it would launch a new Xiaomi TV Stick 4K on February 14.

Xiaomi has also confirmed several features of its upcoming TV Stick 4K. As the name suggests, the TV stick will support 4K resolution, and it will support 4K HDR content. The TV Stick will come bundled with a remote. The remote control will have shortcut hotkeys for multiple OTT platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus Hotstar, etc. In addition to this, the remote will also support Google Assistant and can be controlled via voice commands.
The stick features a compact and portable design and will support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos content. Other than that, this device will have a built-in Xiaomi Patchwall user interface based on the Android TV operating system. Users can choose to download any third-party application from the Google Play Store built into the UI.
The new Xiaomi TV Stick 4K will be powered by an unannounced quad-core processor and will be able to cast content directly from the smartphone to the TV.

Xiaomi launched a its 4K Stick in December 2021. It offers over 400,000+ movies and shows across apps and allows access to 7,000+ apps and games on the Google Play Store. Plus, there’s Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in. In terms of hardware, it is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A35 CPU and Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. The TV stick runs the Android TV 11 system based Patchwall UI.
In terms of video decoding, the TV Stick 4K 2021 supports AV1, VP9, H.265, H.264, MPEG-2, and MPEG-1. Dolby Vision content is also supported, and on the audio side, it offers Dolby Atmos DTS HD sound.
