Today, Xiaomi released the Civi 2 Hello Kitty Fashion Limited Edition smartphone. The latter uses a unique photochromic process, which will turn “blush” when it encounters sunlight. The company will start shipments on February 9. At present, this handset has been put on the shelves of Xiaomi’s official flagship store and is open for booking. The 12GB+256GB version is offered for 2799 yuan ($412).

The Hello Kitty avatars on the back of the Xiaomi Civi 2 Hello Kitty Trend Limited Edition are normally gray in color. But they will turn rose red under sunlight.
The configuration of this new machine is almost the same as that of the regular version. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. There is a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 OLED hyperbolic 58° flexible screen, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset also has a custom stainless steel VC liquid cooling heat dissipation. The 4500mAh high-density lithium cobalt oxide battery supports 67W fast charging. So the phone can reach 100% in 40 minutes.
In other aspects, the Xiaomi Civi 2 comes with a rear-mounted 50MP AI three-camera. But the selling point of this handset is the selfie shooter. It has a front-facing dual-camera setup. By the way, it is the strongest selfie shooter in Xiaomi’s history. The Xiaomi Civi 2 sports a 32MP f/2.0 main camera as well as a 32MP 100° ultra-wide-angle lens. There are multi-color and four soft lights in the frame.
