Tomorrow, OnePlus will launch several products. For instance, the OnePlus 11 5G will make its global debut alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 WTS earphones. Chinese customers will meet with the OnePlus Pad. The OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone will also debut in China. And the same smartphone will go global under the OnePlus 11R name.
OnePlus Ace 2 camera
There’s been a lot of buzz around the Ace 2 / 11R so far, as it’s expected to be an almost-flagship model with a significantly lower price compared to the OnePlus 11. The latest teaser from the brand proves that it will be powerful not only in terms of performance but also imaging. The handset will use a Sony IMX890 5OMP sensor. For those who are unaware, this is the same sensor used in the camera of the OP11.
The IMX890 sensor should provide an ideal shooting experience, including support for RAW shooting modes to preserve the maximum amount of detail for further processing by the user. However, it’s worth noting that the camera won’t be Hasselblad-tuned, which means it may differ in color accuracy and won’t have the Hasselblad mode available on the flagship. Since the OnePlus Ace 2 is the same device as the OnePlus 11R, we can expect this sensor to be present in the global version as well.
In addition to the 50MP IMX890 sensor with OIS support, the device will come with a 12MP or 8MP ultra-wide camera paired with a 2MP macro shooter. The selfie camera will likely have a 16MP resolution.
Additionally, the brand recently confirmed support for LPDDR5x RAM on the phone. The phone will be available in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants.
Other than that, the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a fingerprint sensor under the screen. It should run on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 interface. The 5,000mAh battery should support 100W fast charging.
