The OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone will be announced shortly. We have seen this smartphone spotted in various leaks. Today, AnTuTu released the benchmark score of this handset. The device with the model number “PHK110” showed quite respectable results.
In terms of hardware, the new machine will come with a full-blooded version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It will be paired with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage space. Of course, there will be other memory variants too. Apart from this, the phone runs the Android 13 operating system.
The Snapdragon 8+ has a low-frequency version and a full-blooded version. The performance of the latter is naturally stronger. Its frequency can reach up to 3.2GHz. With the blessing of the full-blooded Snapdragon 8+, the benchmark score of the OnePlus Ace 2 reached 1,149,494 points. Thus, it’s almost the level of top-end models on the market.
Among them, the CPU score of the OnePlus Ace 2 is 272,214 points, the GPU score is 486,502 points, the MEM score is 202,614 points, and the UX score is 188,164 points.
AnTuTu said that thanks to the large-capacity storage configuration, the MEM score is currently relatively good among the same type of products. This is also true for the CPU score.
Other specs of the OnePlus Ace 2
The Ace 2 adopts a curved screen solution with a resolution of 1.5K. The screen also supports 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. The new machine might have a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. Plus, there should be a triple camera on the back, including a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. The front-facing camera will have a 16MP resolution.
In addition, a Weibo tipster showed the render of the phone. Judging from the latter, the OnePlus Ace 2 adopts a “black hole-inspired aesthetic design” similar to the OnePlus 11. It integrates the camera with the body.
The new phone is expected to be unveiled in early February.
