Poco X5 / Pro specs

As the leaked posters show, the Poco X5 5G will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip. This version will also have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400*1080 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The back of the fuselage is going to carry a 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2-megapixel macro lens. On the opposite side, the handset will house a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The 5000mAh capacity battery will support 33W fast charging.

As for the Poco X5 Pro 5G, it will come with a better chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. However, the screen will come with the same parameters. On the back, this phone will have a triple camera, including a 108-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2-megapixel macro lens. There is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. The battery capacity is the same, but the charging speed is doubled, 67W.

The brand also revealed the performance data of the X5 Pro 5G by posting the AnTuTu benchmark score of 545,093 points. This is a clear hint that we are dealing with a mid-range handset. Moreover, it’s from the lower part of the category. We mean the “real” mid-rangers in the Android camp sport a Snapdragon 870 chip. However, compared with the competitors based on the Dimensity 1080, we see that the gap is around 7%.

In addition, Indian insider vendor Paras Guglani has revealed the price of the X5 Pro 5G with 8/256GB storage. The latter should cost about ₹24,999 ($305.35). If the indicated price tag is true, then the X5 Pro 5G will be the most profitable device in the mid-range niche.
