Unlike in the past, Huawei has slowed down the pace of launching new smartphones every year. Now, you will find only one generation of the P series released in a year, one of the Mate series and one of the Nova series. But this is logical – the company is under sanctions and can’t get components to make new products. Anyway, the China-based first-tier smartphone maker still wants to stay afloat. This means we will see new models every year. For instance, the next one in the queue is the Huawei P60 series of flagship phones. The phone case was exposed not long ago, which hints at the design elements.

Huawei P60 specs

We understand that Huawei fans want to see serious improvements in terms of cameras. Of course, they would like to see more powerful chips under the hood.

Recently, we noticed that the Huawei P60 series would use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform. This is not on par with the previous leaks, proving that Huawei will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Instead, it will come with the same chip used in the Huawei Mate 50 series.

Of course, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform is also at the flagship level. It’s found its place under the sun due to a very impressive performance. This means that even with this chip onboard, the Huawei P60 series will provide a very powerful performance.

Other than that, the Huawei P60 series will have a certain improvement in terms of imaging. The primary lens will be upgraded. If so, it will surpass the previously released Huawei Mate 50.

Unfortunately, the phone will still support only 4G networks. The release time is set to be March. However, we will learn about a specific launch date a bit later when Huawei issues an official statement.
