The Redmi K60 has been the talk of the town for a long time. Honestly, it’s not going to be a premium smartphone. But the features it will come with allow the handset to make tough competition to any top-end smartphone. Today, we learned that the phone had already entered the design verification stage.
Dimensity 8200
According to a Weibo tipster, one of the standard versions of the Redmi K60 will sport the Dimensity 8200 chip. MediaTek recently announced that it would hold a new product launch event for its flagship Dimensity chip on November 8. The Taiwanese chip manufacturer will introduce the Dimensity 9200 chip at the conference. As there is more and more news and leaks concerning the Dimensity 8200 chip, we guess the latter will also attend the stage. As for specific features, the Dimensity 8200 chip uses a 3.1GHz Cortex-X2 CPU. Thus, it inherits the large core of the Dimensity 9000 flagship chip. Before this, we heard that the Redmi K60 series would include a model powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

Apart from the mentioned feature, this handset will also come with a 48MP camera. The latter is said to support OIS (optical image stabilization). Thus, the phone will be great for shooting photos and recording videos on the go. However, there is still no information on what sensor it will come with.
On the front, the Redmi K60 ought to come with a QHD+ resolution flexible straight screen. It will have eye protection certification. Also, the phone will adopt a punch-hole screen design. The hole for the selfie shooter will be placed on the upper central part of the screen. Inside, this phone will also have a built-in 5500mAh battery that supports 30W wireless and 67W wired charging. By the way, the high phone variant will support a 120W+30W charging solution.
