One of the selling points of the Huawei Pocket S is the 6.9-inch foldable display. It has almost the same width on all sides. The key parameters of the screen include a screen ratio of 21:9, 442ppi pixel density, 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, adjustable refresh rate at up to 120Hz, ultra-high touch sampling rate of 300Hz, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.

The phone also has a small circular external screen, which displays various information. We can mention notifications, camera photos, calls, music playback, etc.

Also, the phone is the world’s first to use a multi-dimensional linkage lifting water drop hinge. The latter forms a water drop-shaped screen space at the bending point.

Though this is the world’s cheapest clamshell smartphone, it uses tons of innovative materials. Among them, we can mention zirconium-based liquid metal and MIM steel material, which reaches the highest strength in the industry. It’s developed by the company and is impact-resistant, non-deformable, tough, and durable.

Due to these materials and such a structure, the Huawei Pocket S can withstand 400,000 folding.

The main camera of the phone consists of two sensors. One of them is a 40-megapixel RYYB super-sensitive lens, which increases the amount of light by 40% compared to RGGB. In effect, it is capable of recording details clearly in low-light environments. The second sensor has a 13MP resolution and a wide viewing angle.

You can take selfies through the 10.7MP camera on the front without unfolding the handset.

There is a built-in 4000mAh battery that supports 40W Huawei super-fast charging. Turbo mode can charge the handset by 52% in 20 minutes.

The phone features the Snapdragon 778G chip. It’s a classic mid-ranger found on many famous phones. Unfortunately, it supports only 4G connectivity. Of course, this phone runs the latest version of HarmonyOS 3.0.
