Xiaomi launched a gaming TV, namely Redmi XT TV

Xiaomi TV is a leader in many big markets. But to keep its throne, the company has to work hard. We mean it should understand what the market wants and offer corresponding products. For instance, today, it released a new TV product – Redmi XT TV. This is a gaming TV, which supports a dual 120Hz high refresh rate and VRR variable refresh rate and comes with an HDMI 2.1 interface. The price starts at 2099 yuan ($290).

The Redmi XT TV uses a metal body and has a full-screen design. The latter has a 4K resolution and supports a dual 120Hz high refresh rate, that is, 120Hz refresh rate and 120Hz MEMC motion compensation. For the latter, it uses chip algorithms to optimize high-speed moving pictures in real-time. So the picture motion is more stable, smoother, and clearer.

It is a high-caliber primary color screen. The gamma curve and color temperature will be adjusted before leaving the factory. The Delta E is about 2, supporting 94% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 1 billion primary color display. Inside, the TV has a quad-core A73 processor paired with 3+32GB storage.

For gaming, the sound is one of the core features. So our protagonist has to provide a corresponding audio performance. The Redmi XT TV has built-in 4 speakers, 2 bass-enhancing inverter tubes, and 25W independent dual-frequency high-power audio. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

In other aspects, the Redmi XT gaming TV comes with an HDMI 2.1 interface, which brings lower input lag. It also supports VRR variable refresh rate, has passed AMD’s FreeSync Premium certification, and can be controlled by voice commands.

The pre-sale of the product will commence on October 24. The 55-inch variant’s pre-order price is 2,099 yuan, the 65-inch comes at 2,799 yuan ($386), and the 75-inch costs 4,999 yuan ($690).
