What should I ask a battery technician about maintenance near Al Jaddaf?

I have been trying to learn a little more about car battery care because I usually only think about the battery when something goes wrong. A friend recently mentioned that regular checks can sometimes help catch a weak battery or charging problem before it leaves you stuck somewhere, and that got me thinking about my own situation. I help look after a family vehicle that does not get driven every single day, and it spends quite a lot of time parked. The battery seems fine at the moment, but I am not sure whether it is actually in good condition or just working well enough for now. The battery fitted to the vehicle is a 55D23L, and we have been using an Amaron battery. I started searching for someone around Al Jaddaf who could inspect it properly rather than waiting until it completely fails. While looking around, I came across the phrase Expert Amaron 55D23L battery maintenance near Al Jaddaf, but I am not sure what a proper battery maintenance visit should include. Is it mainly checking the voltage, or should the technician also test the starting power and charging system? I have heard people talk about battery terminals becoming dirty or loose, especially when a vehicle spends a lot of time parked, but I have never actually checked them myself. I also wonder whether there is anything useful an owner can do at home without accidentally causing a problem. I am not looking to take the battery apart or do anything complicated. I just want to understand what basic maintenance is worth doing and how often it should be checked. Another thing that confused me is battery age. If the vehicle starts normally every morning, does that mean the battery is still healthy, or can a battery appear fine right up until it suddenly becomes unreliable? A relative had a battery that seemed completely normal and then failed without much warning, so I would rather avoid that situation if possible. I am also curious about the effect of short trips. The vehicle is sometimes used for quick trips to shops and nearby offices, and I have heard that repeated short drives may not give the battery enough time to recover the power used during starting. I do not know how much truth there is to that, though. Would using the vehicle for a longer drive once in a while actually make any difference, or is that not something worth worrying about? Since we are around Al Jaddaf, convenience is also important. I would prefer someone who can inspect the vehicle at its parking location if that is a normal service, because taking time out to visit a workshop just for a battery check seems unnecessary if there is another option. At the same time, I do not want someone to simply look at the battery for two minutes and say it needs replacing without showing any test results. For those who have had battery maintenance done recently, what did the technician actually check? Did they explain the condition clearly and give you an idea of how much useful life was left? I would also like to know whether checking the alternator should always be part of the visit, since I imagine a charging issue could make even a fairly new battery perform badly. I am mainly trying to become a bit more sensible about vehicle maintenance instead of reacting only after a problem appears. If anyone has experience maintaining a 55D23L battery around Al Jaddaf, I would appreciate hearing what you normally ask the technician to check and whether regular inspections have actually helped you avoid unexpected battery trouble.
