Today, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra satellite communication version is on the shelves on JD.com. Only the 16GB+1TB version is available, priced at 7,499 yuan (about $1038), which is only 500 yuan (about $69) more expensive than the standard 16GB+512GB version. OPPO Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version will go on sale on April 2.

Moreover, this marks OPPO’s debut in satellite communication smartphones, expanding beyond previous models with enhanced functionalities. Utilizing satellite antenna pattern control technology, it introduces dual-mode satellite call features to smartphones, transforming satellite communication beyond mere walkie-talkies.

Users can now seamlessly receive satellite calls by simply holding the phone close to their ears, akin to answering regular calls, aligning better with user habits. Furthermore, alongside satellite communication, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra introduces 5G-A technology, often dubbed as 5.5G, an advanced iteration of 5G.

This 5.5G technology boasts a significant 10-fold improvement in network capabilities compared to 5G, excelling in speed, latency, connection scale, and energy efficiency. It achieves peak speeds of 10 Gigabit downlink and 1 Gigabit uplink, with latency in milliseconds and a cost-effective 1,000 Gigabit bandwidth.

The remaining configurations mirror those of previous models, featuring a 6.82-inch 2K screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform, with a built-in 5000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless flash charging.

The rear camera setup includes four 50-megapixel cameras: main camera, ultra-wide-angle, 3x periscope telephoto, and 6x periscope telephoto.
