The Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier 5S recently went live on the JD platform and will commence pre-orders on April 1, priced at 1599 yuan (about $221).
Equipped with a sensitive formaldehyde sensor, this new model visualizes changes in formaldehyde concentration, boasting a 255m³/h formaldehyde CADR (Single Component Load) (actual measurement). Officially claimed to have a 96.95% formaldehyde removal rate in one hour, 98.1% TVOC removal rate in one hour, 98.1% benzene removal rate in one hour, 99.98% PM10 removal rate in one hour, and a 98% pollen allergen removal rate in one hour.
Furthermore, the Mijia Air Purifier 5S features sterilization and disinfection functions, equipped with dual antibacterial and antiviral coatings + ultraviolet UV lamp. Officially claimed to have a 99.99% antiviral rate against the H1N1 influenza virus and a 99.99% antibacterial rate against Staphylococcus aureus, among others.
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier 5S features a sensing system. This system includes formaldehyde detection, PM10 allergen detection, PM2.5 detection, humidity detection, and temperature detection. Additionally, it is equipped with various sensors. It adopts a whole-machine noise reduction design, with noise as low as 30.4dB(A). Additionally, the product integrates with Xiaomi HyperConnect, supporting Mijia App + XiaoAI Assistant.
