Huawei Nova 12 Series Released in Malaysia: Starts at 1299 Ringgit

Last December, Huawei launched the Nova 12 series smartphones. Prices range from 2999 to 5499 yuan (about $415-$761), these phones exclude the Nova 12 SE. Now, Huawei has introduced the Nova 12i, Nova 12 SE, and Nova 12s in Malaysia. The 8GB+256GB versions are priced at 1299 Malaysian Ringgit (about $275), 1499 Ringgit (about $317), and 1999 Ringgit (about $423) respectively.

When you pre-order the Nova 12s, you receive a Huawei Watch GT 3 SE and a gift package worth 988 Ringgit. Meanwhile, pre-ordering the Nova 12 SE earns you a Huawei Band 8 and a gift package worth 308 Ringgit.

The Huawei Nova 12 SE features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 2400×1080, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 270 Hz touch sampling rate. It runs on EMUI 14, with a triple rear camera setup of 108MP+8MP+2MP and a 32MP front camera.

Additionally, the Huawei Nova 12 SE has a built-in 4500mAh battery, supports 66W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi 5. It comes in green, white, and black, with dimensions of 162.39×75.47×7.39mm and weighing about 186 grams.

The Huawei Nova 12s employs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G. This processor powers a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2412×1084 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor. This is coupled with a 60MP front camera. Available in blue, white, and black variants, it measures 161.29×74.96×6.88mm and weighs approximately 168 grams. Other aspects remain largely consistent.

The Huawei Nova 12i boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, powering a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2388 pixels. The device supports a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 30 to 90 Hz and boasts a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz. Additionally, it features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. In terms of photography, it houses an 8MP shooter for the front camera. Regarding its battery, it integrates a robust 5000mAh capacity supporting 40W fast charging. Available in green and black variants, its dimensions measure 163.3×74.7×8.4mm, weighing approximately 199 grams, with other specifications remaining largely similar.
