Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 14 Ultra series, marking the most powerful imaging flagship in Xiaomi’s history. Today, Gizcoupon brings photos and reviews of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition. The phone was officially launched on March 12.
Unboxing
The packaging box for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition is noticeably larger compared to the standard version. It features a flat gift box design, maintaining an overall black color with a product name indication on the front and an added “Titanium Special Edition” label in the bottom right corner.
Design
Moving on to the phone itself, the most significant difference in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition lies in its middle frame. The frame incorporates aerospace-grade titanium alloy and high-strength aluminum alloy materials, specifically utilizing the titanium alloy injection molding process. The TC-4 super titanium alloy used boasts a yield strength of 900 megapascals, a 214% increase over the standard version, and a material hardness that is 259% of the standard version.
On the back of the phone, the third-generation Kona leather material retains its soft, smooth, and delicate feel, closely resembling genuine leather, and exhibiting strong damping. The camera module maintains the circular large lens design from the standard version, with the addition of a bright Deco metal ring around the module and a gold border at the lens module junction. The lens module cover’s outer ring features intricate grid patterns.
Display
In the lower-left corner on the back is the vertical “xiaomi” logo, forming a cohesive visual with the black text and the lens color. The front of the phone showcases a 6.73-inch 2K fully curved screen. Despite being a flat screen, it exudes a rounded and smooth feel, reminiscent of the sensation provided by past 2.5D glass. The entire screen appears to be floating above the middle frame.
At the top of the screen is a centered punch-hole camera, accompanied by a separate earpiece unit for directional sound output. When illuminated, the narrow borders of the screen create a strong visual impact. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition measures 161.4mm×75.3mm×9.2mm in three dimensions and weighs slightly more than the standard version at 229.6g.
At the top of the device, there are speakers and a microphone, and at the bottom, there are speakers, a microphone, a USB Type-C dual-sided charging port, a microphone, and a SIM card slot. On the right side of the device are the power button and volume control buttons, while the left side has no physical buttons, only a white antenna break.
