The all-new BMW MINI JCW Countryman debuted in Beijing, priced at 399,800 yuan (about $55610). The pure gasoline performance version, Countryman, has boosted power and enlarged its body size. During the launch event, BMW MINI announced its exclusive focus on introducing the JCW version of the new Countryman in the Chinese market, discontinuing the availability of the regular model.
With a more robust appearance, the revamped BMW MINI JCW Countryman takes center stage. Embracing the iconic JCW color scheme, it features a striking red roof and black body. Additionally, the car boasts 20-inch exclusive JCW wheels, distinctive four-corner body proportions, and signature flag-shaped taillights, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.
The new car measures 4447x1843x1643mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2692mm. Despite the increased body size, it’s immediately recognizable as a MINI. The interior of the new car has undergone a comprehensive overhaul. The center console has a striking 9.44-inch circular screen and textured fabric, catching the eye. The dashboard is covered with recyclable polyester fiber fabric.
The Countryman performance version, fueled by pure gasoline, has gained power and grown in body size. Additionally, the vehicle introduces eight innovative “experience modes,” each featuring a unique user interface design.
The new BMW MINI family will also welcome Level 2 autonomous driving assistance features. The all-new MINI JCW Countryman becomes the first MINI model to implement Level 2 autonomous driving assistance features. With a maximum power of 316 horsepower, the new car’s 2.0T engine stands out. Teamed up with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and employing a torque-biasing differential four-wheel-drive system, the car achieves a rapid acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.4 seconds.
