Audi today unveiled official spy photos of the new Audi S3 model. The company plans to introduce the updated model to China soon, offering both two-door and three-door versions.
In terms of appearance, the new Audi S3 adopts a hexagonal front grille design, an “L”-shaped inner grille, and larger heat dissipation openings on the front bumper sides compared to the current model. The Akrapovic “Scorpion” exhaust system with dual outlets on each side equips the rear bumper with a more aggressive diffuser design, showcasing a distinct sporty style.
In the interior, the new Audi S3 comes with a 10.1-inch central control, a 10.25-inch smart instrument panel, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the traditional sports seats. The upgraded 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the new Audi S3 in terms of power. It has increased its maximum power by 17 kilowatts compared to the current model, reaching 245 kilowatts.
Additionally, the maximum torque has seen a boost of 20 Newton meters, reaching 420 Newton meters. The transmission system of the new car features a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The optimization and upgrading of the gearbox shifting speed and the all-wheel-drive system result in an impressive acceleration time of only 4.7 seconds for 0-100 km/h. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
