South Korean rumors suggest iPhone 16 Pro Max might boast the longest-ever battery life. A Naver user, “yeux1122,” shared supply chain insights last week, confirming rumors about the iPhone 16 Pro, like a larger 6.3-inch display.
The increased size and internal tweaks enable better optical zoom, possibly referring to the quad-prism 5x telephoto camera introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. While the size change is subtle, the bezels will still surpass Samsung’s Galaxy S24. Expect a battery of similar or larger size.
Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro wasn’t mentioned in last week’s report on the next iPhone’s battery capacity. The Naver user later stated that the iPhone16 Pro Max will see power consumption improvements in various parts, featuring a larger battery for the longest-ever iPhone battery life. The current iPhone 15 Pro Max lasts 29 hours, but the iPhone16 Pro Max might surpass 30 hours.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max now has a 5% battery capacity increase, reaching 4,676 mAh, according to reports. Though a modest rise, other energy-saving measures could further enhance overall battery life.
Naver’s site hints that iPhone 16 Pro models will maintain 8GB of RAM, refining the titanium frame manufacturing process while cutting costs. Anticipate the iPhone 16 series in the fall.
