On January 15, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra entered its final testing stage, as disclosed by blogger @智慧皮卡丘. Officials expect to announce the registration details soon. Moreover, earlier reports suggest that they will officially unveil the phone in March, with pre-launch activities scheduled for after the Spring Festival.
From this point of view, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may have an “Extraordinary Master” version. Earlier reports indicated that this smartphone would feature a right-side mid-frame shape, maintain the same depth and slightly curved screen, and come in blue glass, orange silicon skin, and black silicon skin colors. Additionally, the battery back panel is set to adopt a streamlined raised design.
This year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra stands out as the company’s high-end flagship, emphasizing imaging upgrades. Notably, it will feature four 50-megapixel full-focus cameras, including a Sony LYT900 main camera, a 3.2x upright telephoto lens, a 5x periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The main camera introduces variable aperture technology, allowing for a flexible range between f/1.6 and f/4.0, ensuring excellent light intake. Additionally, the telephoto lens incorporates an OIS optical anti-shake function.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a full-depth micro-quadruple screen offering up to 2K resolution and runs on the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform. Complementing its advanced features, the device packs a substantial 5180mAh battery. Xiaomi 14 Ultra leaves no room for compromise in its configuration. Addressing previous shortcomings such as telephoto macro and ultrasonic fingerprint technology. Notably, it introduces satellite communication technology, making it Xiaomi’s inaugural mobile phone to support two-way satellite communication. This innovation ensures communication with the outside world even without a terrestrial network.
Moreover, the blogger @智慧皮卡丘 revealed that Xiaomi also will unveil a sizable tablet featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The specs remain undisclosed at this time.
