On January 12, Honor mobile phones officially announced the launch of their latest product in collaboration with Porsche Design – the Honor Magic V2 RSR. The company will release the product to the market at 10:08 am on the same day, pricing the 16GB+1TB version at RMB 15,999 (about $2251).
Transitioning to its appearance, the design of Honor Magic V2 RSR takes inspiration from Porsche’s iconic sports car, the 911. Notable features include a distinctive flying cable design on the back and a lens module with a porthole visual effect, immediately conveying the classic elements of Porsche. The agate gray color scheme mirrors that of the Porsche 911, exuding luxury and nobility.
Beyond aesthetics, the Magic V2 RSR has exceptional reliability. It incorporates Honor Jurhino Glass and silicon nitride materials, enhancing the phone’s resistance to drops and scratches. This material not only elevates the phone’s durability but also provides a unique texture and feel.
Moving on to the basic configuration, the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design aligns closely with the previously released Honor Magic V2. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version processor (clocked at 3.36GHz), a 6.43-inch external screen, and a 7.92-inch internal screen. Both screens support a 1.07 billion color display and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a 5000mAh capacity Qinghai Lake battery and supports 66W fast charging.
The Magic V2 RSR features a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera (with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS optical image stabilization), a 20-megapixel telephoto camera (with an f/2.4 aperture and OIS optical image stabilization), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (with an f/2.0 aperture). Its front-facing camera boasts a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens (with an f/2.2 aperture) in the realm of photography.
