After the line draft was exposed, blogger @digitalchatstation actively shared a rendering of the Huawei P70 back. This rendering reveals that while some design details are missing, the “new main camera with variable aperture,” and “Periscope Telephoto” features are evident.

Looking at the picture, it’s clear that this new phone has three rear cameras. The lens module, with its rounded rectangular design, appears significantly larger. The three lenses, arranged in a triangular formation, are complemented by the prominently displayed Huawei imaging brand logo, XMAGE. Moreover, the phone’s design includes a curved transition between the body and the middle frame, likely for enhanced ergonomics. Regarding the phone’s specifications, details are scarce. For now, our best reference is the preceding P60 series.

The Huawei P60 comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ 4G processor and features two-way Beidou satellite messaging. Its front sports a 6.67-inch OLED display, offering a resolution of 2700 x 1220 pixels. This display supports a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Additionally, the device includes a 4815mAh battery, supporting 66W wired, 50W wireless fast charging, and wireless reverse charging.

In the imaging department, the Huawei P60 stands out with a 48-megapixel super-concentrated camera, featuring an adjustable F1.4~F4.0 aperture and OIS optical image stabilization. It also includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an F2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto focus camera with an F3.4 aperture and OIS. This camera setup allows for 5x optical zoom, 50x digital zoom, and a 10-step adjustable physical aperture.
