The Redmi K70 series, including the K70E, K70, and K70 Pro, made their debut at the end of November last year. However, the K70 Ultra model did not make its debut alongside them. Allegedly, the Redmi K70 Ultra features a 1.5K flat screen and a design with right-angled edges in the middle frame.
The blogger reports that the K70 Ultra (Supreme Edition) has already received an upgrade with the Dimensity 9300 processor, a 1.5K flat screen, and uses a jointly developed “xx scheduling architecture.” Moreover, it includes an independent chip, and a right-angled middle frame, and features waterproof capabilities. The blogger also points out that the device features an “improved texture” and positions itself as a price killer.
It’s worth noting that previously, mentioned another new Xiaomi device, also featuring the Dimensity 9300 processor, emphasized a “differentiated configuration selection to fill in some shortcomings of Snapdragon models.” It is expected that these leaks also pertain to the K70 Ultra.
The Redmi K70 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage, and comes with MIUI pre-loaded. Its front display features a 6.67-inch 2K flat screen with a resolution of 3200*1440, a peak brightness of 4000nit, and supports a maximum 120Hz refresh rate as well as 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Redmi K70 Pro boasts a 5000mAh battery, Xiaomi’s P2 fast charging chip, and the Pango G1 battery management chip, supporting 120W wired fast charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the front camera is a 16MP high-definition portrait camera.
