At the ongoing Xiaomi automotive technology conference, the company unveiled the exterior details of its first car model, the Xiaomi SU7.
Xiaomi SU7 Interior Appearance Officially Announced
The Xiaomi SU7, a high-performance C-class eco-technology sedan, dominates the global sedan market with its record-low drag coefficient of Cd 0.195. Measuring 4997mm long, the car also has a 3000mm wheelbase, a width of 1963mm, and a height of 1440mm. Furthermore, experts commend its ‘golden ratio’ for wheel-to-axle, wheel-to-height, and width-to-height ratios. Regarding color options, the car offers at least three distinctive hues. ‘Gulf Blue’ captures the delicate transition from green to blue, reminiscent of the layered richness of seawater. ‘Elegant Gray’, inspired by the grey rock layers of the Yadan landforms, exudes tranquility and sophistication. ‘Olive Green’ symbolizes the subtle beauty of nature, combining calmness with a sense of tension.
Additionally, the vehicle features teardrop-shaped headlights, equipped with a 4-lens, 12-pixel matrix ADB adaptive headlight design. These headlights intelligently adjust to light changes, providing superior illumination for night driving. The 160° ultra-wide-angle lighting expands the illumination range, ensuring clear visibility on the road. The cornering auxiliary lights automatically illuminate the inside of curves. The car’s halo tail lights, reportedly inspired by Saturn’s rings, stretch 2.48m and consist of 360 pieces of 632nm ultra-red light LED components. The semi-hidden car door handles not only optimize the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency but also solve the issue of freezing in cold weather, avoiding the difficulties often encountered with traditional pop-out handles.
Inside, the Xiaomi SU7 offers three interior color options: Galaxy Grey, Twilight Red, and Obsidian Black, along with a wraparound cockpit design. It’s equipped with a 5.35㎡ glass surface area, providing what’s claimed to be industry-leading skylight and front windshield sun and heat insulation. Furthermore, the car includes physical buttons, a classic steering wheel, sporty seats, dynamic ambient lighting, and a Dolby sound system, enhancing both functionality and driving pleasure.
