Today, Xiaomi unveiled the all-new Xiaomi AX1500 router, initiating a simultaneous pre-sale event. Priced at 129 yuan (about $18), this marks Xiaomi’s most affordable Wi-Fi 6 router to date. The deadline for the final payment is set for 10:00 am on December 12.
The recently launched Xiaomi AX1500 router boasts a Realtek RTL8197H processor with a single-core 1.0GHz frequency, 128MB RAM, and 16MB ROM. With an integrated 2.4GHz radio frequency supporting 2×2 MIMO, the Wi-Fi 4 maximum rate reaches 300Mbps. Meanwhile, the 5GHz radio frequency module, RTL8832BR, supports an 80MHz bandwidth and 2×2 MIMO, achieving a Wi-Fi 6 maximum rate of 1201Mbps. The dual-band concurrent theoretical rate of Router AX1500 reaches an impressive 1501Mbps. The 5GHz band embraces WiFi6 technology, resulting in a substantial 38% increase in the maximum theoretical rate.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi AX1500 router features 4 Gigabit adaptive network ports, eliminating the need to distinguish between WAN and LAN ports. Users can plug any home network cable into any network port for internet access. It supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz dual-band functions, with intelligent operations based on user experience. This router also supports Xiaomi’s proprietary Mesh networking technology, facilitating various hybrid networking methods. Capable of connecting up to 10 routers, it enables seamless roaming throughout the house and broader signal coverage.
The AX1500 router features automatic discovery of Xiaomi smart devices nearby through the Mijia App. One can access the network with a single click without entering a password. It supports WiFi password change synchronization, ensuring automatic reconnection of devices. Additionally, the Xiaomi router AX1500 incorporates an exclusive acceleration function for Xiaomi mobile phones. In scenarios with multiple connected devices, the router intelligently identifies Xiaomi/Redmi mobile phones, activating a dedicated acceleration channel in gaming scenarios to effectively reduce delays and lags.
