The Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on December 5th, priced at 6499 yuan (about $919). Previously, this version faced production challenges due to issues with the manufacturing process and materials, resulting in insufficient supply and even causing third-party platforms to mark up the price by over a thousand yuan.
Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition Features
Xiaomi’s User Operations Manager, known as “Little Chubby, the Human Treasure,” had mentioned that the Xiaomi14 Pro Titanium Metal Special Edition had a low yield rate and a limited initial shipment, but there would be replenishments as production capacity increased.
Emphasizing that the Titanium Metal Special Edition is not a limited release, he advised consumers who wish to purchase it to be patient. It is worth noting that the Xiaomi14 Pro Titanium Special Edition features a frame made of titanium metal with 99% purity. It includes a fingerprint-resistant coating, making it less prone to fingerprints compared to the iPhone 15 Pro series.
In the rear camera module, the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition is adorned with orange accents, enhancing its recognition. Furthermore, the overall color scheme of the device follows the original titanium metal style, with both front and back panels crafted from Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass, providing strength and hardness far superior to ordinary glass. The device boasts a 10 times improvement in drop resistance and a 1.32 times increase in scratch resistance compared to Apple’s iPhone 15’s Ceramic Shield glass.
