Xiaomi has officially announced its collaboration with Lamborghini’s SQUADRA CORSE to jointly launch the Redmi x Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE. Xiaomi will officially make this significant announcement at tonight’s Redmi 10th-anniversary and K70 series smartphone launch event.
Redmi K70 Series to Launch with Potential Lamborghini Custom Edition
The officials state that, on the occasion of Xiaomi Redmi’s tenth anniversary, Xiaomi has chosen to collaborate and evolve alongside Lamborghini’s SQUADRA CORSE, marking an important partnership among the strong. This collaboration also signifies Xiaomi’s commitment to continuing deep collaborations with global top brands in the future to jointly drive the development of technology and automobiles.
On November 29 at 19:00, Redmi will unveil the new phones of the K70 series. The lineup is three models: Redmi K70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro, with the potential for a Lamborghini custom edition. The Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip will power the Redmi K70E, while it is expected that the other two models will use the Snapdragon 8 Gne2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen3, delivering enhanced performance. The Redmi x Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE model might derive its foundation from the Redmi K70 Pro, integrating Lamborghini elements into its design to display a unique style. In terms of performance, analysts estimate it to be on par with the K70 Pro.
Additionally, the Redmi K70 series introduces creative color options, presenting the unique shades of Light Aubergine Purple and Bamboo Moon Blue. These colors draw inspiration from Jun porcelain’s “one color in the kiln, a myriad colors out of the kiln,” perfectly displaying the rich and blended hues of Jun kiln, making the phone visually outstanding. Moreover, the new phones adopt a screen-less bracket and a metal mid-frame design, enhancing the overall texture and feel.
It’s worth mentioning that in the previous Redmi K50 series, Xiaomi collaborated with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team to release the K50 Championship Edition. Xiaomi introduced the K60 Championship Edition in the subsequent Redmi K60 series without collaboration, but consumers warmly welcomed both championship editions.
