Today, Xiaomi Mobile announced the official release date of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro earphones as November 29th.
According to the introduction, this earphone features ‘Dual-Engine Acoustics, Deep Space Noise Reduction,’ using a ‘brand-new acoustic structure and powerful algorithms,’ and claims to ‘comprehensively evolve the audio quality experience and noise reduction capabilities.
From the official poster released, it appears that this product will be available in three colors: black, white, and blue. The earphones feature an in-ear design, while the charging case adopts a round pebble design. Notably, the black version of the charging case employs a design with different materials.
It’s worth noting that Xiaomi has already pre-listed a Redmi Buds 5 Pro true wireless noise-canceling earphone, priced at 399 yuan (about $56) on JD.com, although it’s unclear if it’s a placeholder. For reference, the Redmi Buds 5 earphones, released in September of this year, start at 199 yuan (about $28). They achieve a noise reduction depth of 46db, supporting a wide 2kHz noise reduction range, three levels of noise reduction depth, three transparent modes, and dual Mic AI call noise reduction. The Redmi Buds 5 pro earphones boast a 40-hour ultra-long battery life, claiming to provide 2 hours of music playback with just 5 minutes of fast charging.
