The Redmi K70 series smartphone is set to be released. Speculation suggests that the new phone has likely entered the comprehensive production phase. Yesterday, Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lu Weibing, stated that the first thing he did at work was to conduct a meeting about the K70, hinting at the possibility of the new phone’s launch within this month.
Indications from Wang Teng suggest that the Redmi K70 series phones are entering the full-scale production phase. Earlier, a blogger revealed that the standard version of the Redmi K70 would have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the K70 Pro would feature the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Recently, all three models of the Redmi K70 smartphone have received 3C certification, with one of them supporting up to 90W fast charging technology, and the other two supporting a maximum of 120W fast charging technology.
Furthermore, in the GeekBench benchmark database, product information for a model named 23117RK66C has emerged. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor powers this product, suggesting it is likely the Redmi K70 Pro. Reports indicate that in version 5.5.1, this product attained a single-core score of 1100 and a multi-core score of 5150.
