Last month, Apple unveiled its latest MacBook Pro featuring the M3 series chips. A recent report by technology blogger techanalye1 revealed that the M3 standard version of the MacBook Pro indeed incorporates a single fan design.
Contrary to earlier speculations, the M3 standard version of the Apple MacBook Pro does utilize a single fan design, as confirmed by motherboard photos released on the X platform. While the specific specifications remain unknown, it is evident that the standard MacBook Pro differs significantly from the Pro/Max models.
For instance, the standard version of the Apple MacBook Pro supports only one external monitor and provides only two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports on the left. Furthermore, the memory bandwidth limits to 100 GB/s, signifying a tenfold increase in speed.
In contrast, the Pro/Max MacBook Pro supports 2/3 external monitors, has three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, and features a higher-performance memory bandwidth of 150 GB/s.
