BYD recently announced the launch of a certified second-hand car mall and unveiled the mall’s homepage on its official account. The mall offers entrances for both “I want to replace” and “I want to sell a car.” Users can access information such as the vehicle’s model, price, registration time, and kilometers, and can filter by car model, age, and mileage. Additionally, in the “BYD Dynasty” or “BYD Ocean” mini-programs, users can find the entrance to the certified second-hand car mall (not yet open) and query specific models.
The official second-hand car mall aims to open up an omnichannel car viewing and trading platform, selecting dealers nationwide with the necessary second-hand car trading qualifications to establish offline showrooms. BYD officials emphasize their commitment to increasing business transparency, ensuring customer satisfaction with every second-hand car sale.
Furthermore, the official platform features a 360-degree car viewing function, with plans for future implementation of cross-regional delivery to match the delivery process of new cars. The company intends to leverage industry resources for used car inspection, evaluation, and circulation capabilities, introducing professional service personnel to enhance the quality of used car services.
BYD highlights several advantages, including the training of professional second-hand car service personnel through a shift from outsourcing to self-operation, eliminating issues with scalpers disturbing customers. Additionally, the company maximizes industry resources to boost the circulation capacity of second-hand cars. Customers can query in real-time during the replacement process, contributing to increased business transparency. Lastly, BYD Auto plans to launch a customer satisfaction evaluation system for second-hand car replacement services.
