Today, the influential Xiaohongshu blogger, Bobo Dylan, revealed in an afternoon post that she had an unexpected encounter with the “skeleton” (the bare car body) of Xiaomi cars and shared numerous real shots of the new car frame.
Before this incident, Xiaomi Cars had covered most of the test vehicles with camouflage, making it difficult to discern the specific body shape. However, this set of photos provides a comprehensive view of the new car’s exterior contours. Consistent with previous spy shots, the new car features a streamlined design on the side, presenting a wide and low-slung slender posture, with potential highlights in aerodynamic performance.
In another set of photos, the design of the car’s taillights is showcased. Though still partially covered, the overall curved-through taillights are visible, with raised shapes on either side of the taillights.
Accompanying these photos are insights into the design and layout of the car’s interior door panels. Currently, it appears that the car will utilize a button-style door opening mechanism, with traditional door handles located within the lower storage space, featuring materials such as faux leather and wood accents. Additionally, the English “Xiaomi” logo is visible on the door panel speakers. Furthermore, the frame structure suggests that the new car will likely feature a panoramic sunroof and possibly frameless doors. Moreover, the rear car body floor uses integrated die-casting technology.
At the end of last month, during the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit on the Big Island of Hawaii, Xiaomi’s President, Lu Weibing, officially announced that Xiaomi would launch cars next year.
