As of October 16, reports indicate that the Chinese smartphone brand Oukitel plans to unveil its flagship model, the Oukitel WP30 Pro, in early November 2023. This smartphone falls under the rugged category, and some key information, including renderings and pricing, has already surfaced.
The front of the Oukitel WP30 Pro features a 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ display with a punch-hole at the top center to accommodate the selfie camera. Additionally, there’s a smaller screen at the upper part of the back, encircled by a flash and three cameras, including a 108MP main camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
This rear screen serves various functions, such as displaying the compass, battery status, notifications, and step count. It can also control music and act as a viewfinder when taking selfies with the rear camera. Under the hood, the WP30 Pro boasts a Dimensity 8050 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. It will come pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system.
The Oukitel WP30 Pro has secured IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications, features an impressive 11,000 mAh battery, and supports rapid 120W charging, enabling a 50% charge in just 15 minutes. Anticipated to be priced between US$329.99 and US$359.99, further details regarding specifications, pricing, and the official launch date are expected to be announced next month.
