Lenovo Xiaoxin has initiated the prelaunch phase today, with an imminent release of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2024. This tablet is officially named an “all-around 11-inch large tablet” and boasts an extremely affordable price, coming in at less than a thousand yuan.
As indicated by the promotional material, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2024 presents two color options for its body. The front features a four-sided wide-screen design, while the rear showcases a stylish color-matching scheme.
As a comparison, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2022 features a 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen with a full lamination process, providing a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Lenovo’s official website currently lists it for 999 yuan (about $135).
The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2024 introduces certain enhancements, such as an enlarged screen, while other specific configuration alterations remain unclear at this juncture. Although the price of this tablet is appealing, it’s important to note that the quality of Lenovo tablets available in the current market varies. Consequently, consumers should exercise due diligence when contemplating a purchase.
Lenovo has retained its position as the leader in global PC market share for five consecutive years. The current state of affairs overshadows the luster of this status. According to Lenovo Group’s financial report, in the fiscal year 2022/23, the company’s total revenue amounted to US$61.947 billion, marking a 12.4% year-on-year decrease. Net profit also saw a 21% year-on-year decline, totaling US$1.608 billion. Both revenue and net profit reflected this decrease, and the net profit margin dropped by 0.23 percentage points, settling at 2.6%.
