ASUS released the 49-inch ultra-widescreen ROG PG49WCD monitor, featuring advanced configurations and improved heat dissipation through quantum dot technology.
Featuring a 49-inch ultra-wide curved screen with a QD-QLED curved panel at 1800R low curvature, it offers a 5k resolution (5120 x 1440), delivering an immersive gaming experience. Moreover, it supports a high refresh rate of 144Hz and boasts a rapid response time of only 0.03ms.
The ROG PG49WCD utilizes a QD-QLED screen with a peak of 1000 nits (typical brightness at 250 nits). It supports HDR and meets Dark Black 400 certification (a step above ordinary HDR400). It is also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC sync technology, ensuring compatibility with NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards.
When it comes to color, quantum dot technology is significant, offering a 99% P3 color gamut and 10.7 billion available colors. Additionally, the screen has a dynamic contrast ratio of 1500000:1.
