Honor X9B Features Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 12GB RAM

Honor launched the Honor X9A mobile phone in December last year. It featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, and 64MP triple cameras, and was powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC with 8GB of storage. According to media reports, it appears that this phone will soon have a successor with the Honor X9B model.

Mobile China has learned that the upcoming Honor X9B recently appeared on TDRA and IMDA certification websites. The TDRA confirmed the model name of X9B, and now, it has also surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The available information indicates that the Honor X9B will utilize the Snapdragon 6 Gen1 mobile platform and boast 12GB of RAM. It achieved 936 points in the single-core test and 2774 points in the multi-core test. Regarding software, this phone will operate on the Android 13 system.

Currently, other specifications of this new phone, including display size, camera configuration, battery capacity, etc., remain unknown. Furthermore, its release date remains undisclosed. However, given the phone’s recent certification acquisitions, it is anticipated to be launched soon.

Honor X9B

The Honor X9B will succeed the X9A, which had a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, used the Snapdragon 695 SoC, and had 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It had a 5100 mAh battery with 40W wired fast charging, under-screen fingerprint recognition, and Bluetooth 5.1. Color options were titanium silver, emerald green, and midnight black. The Honor X9B is expected to be priced similarly, starting at 1,500 yuan ($205).
