Recently, a German technology media shared high-definition renderings of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro mobile phones. Among these images, the Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400×1080. It comes with 8GB of built-in memory and is powered by the Tensor G3 processor. You can choose between two storage options: 128GB and 256 GB.
On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 3120×1440 and the same 120Hz refresh rate. It packs a robust 12GB of memory and offers storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB. In the camera department, both phones share a common 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 sensor for their main cameras and rely on a 10.5-megapixel Samsung selfie camera for the front.
However, the Pixel 8 distinguishes itself by adding an extra 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 ultra-wide-angle sensor. In contrast, the Pixel 8 Pro steps up the camera game by providing a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 48-megapixel Samsung GM5 sensor, along with support for 5x optical zoom. The Pixel 8 boasts a 4600mAh battery for its battery life, and it starts at approximately 6,144 yuan (about $842). In contrast, the Pixel 8 Pro boasts a larger 5100mAh battery and comes with a starting price of approximately 8,451 yuan (about $1,158).
