Xiaomi is planning to hold a press conference in Berlin at 8 p.m. on September 26, Beijing time, to unveil the Xiaomi 13T smartphone and Xiaomi Band 8, among other products. Although Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Band 8 in China in April this year, they will introduce a more user-friendly version of the Xiaomi Band 8 Active at this event.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active Features
The Band 8 Active boasts a 1.47-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 172 x 320 pixels. The screen offers a brilliant display, boasting a peak brightness of up to 500 nits and a pixel density of 247 PPI.
The watch boasts 192 kB of built-in memory and 16MB of storage space. Additionally, it excels in waterproof performance, supporting a 5ATM level of waterproofing and functioning normally in waters of up to 50 meters. The watch employs a TPU material strap, ensuring both comfort and durability.
Furthermore, it supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and comes equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer and PPG heart rate sensor. It provides a wide array of health monitoring functions, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and SpO2 measurement.
Regarding its battery, it will come equipped with a 210mAh capacity battery, expected to last for 14 days on a full charge, with a charging time of approximately 2 hours. The bracelet itself weighs 26.4 grams and has a thickness of 9.99 mm.
Notably, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active is compatible with Xiaomi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear), offering more than 50 exercise modes, including 10 professional modes, and supporting access to over 100 bracelet interfaces. In the European market, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active is priced at 40 euros, whereas the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at 50 euros.
